Becoming familiar with the Quran

In order to understand Islam Christians need to read the Quran to find out what it teaches. Those engaged in Muslim evangelism and coming to the Quran for the first time will find that they are looking at an entirely different kind of literature than the Bible.

Becoming familiar with the Hadith

Apart from the Quran the Hadith is undoubtedly the greatest authority in Islam and needs to be evaluated in order to get a true appreciation of Muhammad and Islam. The Quran's obscurities become clearer when we understand the Tradition. In our hadith section we include hadiths concerning Muhammad's claim to be the Messenger of Allah; his alleged miracles and his assertion to be the Seal of the Prophets. Other hadiths can also be found here which concern such matters as Islam's view of Jesus Christ; the alleged corruption of scripture and Islam's understanding of sin and prayer.

Becoming familiar with the life of Muhammad

We are preparing details of the life of Muhammad which will show how in his early days he grew up in the pagan background of Mecca; how he became an orphan and his alarming infancy and his consignment into the guardianship of Abu Talib who took him on his first mercantile trip into Syria. Then other major influences on his life like his marriage to Khadijah; his additional polygamous marriages; his conflicts with the Jews; his conquest of Mecca and his sickness and death.
